Routed’s new Johannesburg home – you’re welcome any time.

In December 2021, Routed relocated its offices from its base in Fourways in Randburg to the bustling lifestyle hub of Parkhurst. As a “born in the Cloud” company, supporting partners and customers located all over South Africa, the Routed team benefitted from flexible working arrangements, even before the pandemic normalised it for many.  As a result, the shared co-location facility suited the company’s needs at the time.

But with a growing team – having recently appointed a new technical specialist – Routed needed a more permanent collaborative team space.  

“The team requested it,” explains Andrew Cruise, CEO of Routed, “because while working from home has its benefits, working from home all the time also has its downsides and exchanging the hustle and bustle of home for the hustle and bustle of a co-located office facility when the team needed to come together was not ideal.”

The new Routed offices are centrally located in Parkhurst Johannesburg, near Rosebank, and within the highway ring, making it convenient to service partners and customers wherever they might be in Gauteng, and our partners and customers are welcome to come to us, too.  

Much of what Routed delivers for partners and customers does not require in-person, interactive servicing since most interactions tend to take place at the customer or partner’s facilities, but the team enjoys interacting with each other and working on partner and customer solutions holistically in the new space.

 Routed is the country’s leading provider of VMware Clouds, resold through its channel partner network together with value-added services like managed services, internet or developer services. Routed continues to operate its first office in Cape Town.
